unDraw and Illos, side by side.
unDraw is a large free library of flat illustrations of people and everyday scenes, in a colour you pick, with no credit needed. Illos is a smaller library of animated illustrations that each explain one idea on a product site, in three themes, with skills that teach your coding agent to make new ones in the same style.
At a glance
| Illos | unDraw | |
|---|---|---|
| What it shows | How a product works: queues, rate limits, search, replication, deploys | People and everyday scenes |
| Motion | Every illustration is animated and plays when it scrolls into view | Still images; animated scenes come with unDraw Plus |
| Styles | Shader, HUD and Isometric, each in light and dark | One flat style, in the colour you pick |
| Free use | Every spot illustration, in personal and commercial work, no credit | Every illustration, in personal and commercial work, no credit |
| Paid | Pro: $49 at launch, one payment, with a year of new illustrations | unDraw Plus: $59, one payment, for a year of access |
| Into your code | One command adds a React component, or copy the SVG | Download the SVG or PNG |
| New ones in the same style | Skills teach any coding agent the theme, so what it makes matches | Not part of unDraw |
When unDraw is the better pick
- You need people. unDraw's figures doing everyday things cover far more moments than Illos does.
- You want one brand colour across hundreds of scenes, all free.
- Your page tells a story about a person, not about how a system works.
When Illos fits better
- Your page explains how something works: a queue, a cache, a rollout. An illustration that moves shows the idea instead of decorating it.
- You build with Claude Code, Cursor or any other coding agent, and want each new illustration to match the ones you already have.
- Your site has a light and a dark mode, and the illustrations should follow both.
Try one next to what you have
The 30 spot illustrations are free, with no account. Add one to a page beside your unDraw illustrations and see which one explains the idea better.

That adds Queue to your project as a React component. Each illustration's page has its own command, and a Copy button for the SVG.
