Your agent draws in your style, every time.
Skills teach any coding agent an Illos theme: how it looks, how it moves, and how to check it. Ask for an illustration and it makes one that fits your site.
Why use them
Your agent can already draw. Without a guide, every illustration comes out in a different hand. With the skills, it follows one theme, so a new section looks like it was made with the rest of your site. It can make anything in the theme, not only what is in the library: a new section, a hero, a diagram of your product.
What skills are
A skill is a short set of instructions your agent reads when a task calls for it. You do not have to remember them: the agent picks the right one from what you ask.
The skills
- Illos
Finds the right Illos.dev illustration for a page, or hands the request to the right theme skill.
Activates when you mention an illustration for a page, a hero or a feature, or Illos.dev
Add an illustration of our job queue to the docs page. - Isometric
Draws a new illustration in the Isometric theme, from concept to still to motion.
Activates when you mention an isometric illustration, a spot or a section in the Isometric theme
Draw a spot that shows our rate limiter turning requests away. - HUD
Draws a new illustration in the HUD theme.
Activates when you mention a HUD, a dashboard-style section or an instrument view
Draw a HUD section for anomaly detection on a metrics stream. - Shader
Draws a new illustration in the Shader theme: a density field in teal bars.
Activates when you mention a density field, a Shader section or a dithered, bar-drawn look
Draw a Shader section for our vector search. - Check
Runs the style and performance checks on any SVG and says what to fix.
Activates when you mention checking an illustration before you ship it
Check components/illos/rate-limit.tsx before we ship it. - Motion
Animates a still illustration so it loops with no visible jump.
Activates when you mention animating a still, or motion that jumps where it starts again, stalls or feels off
Animate the still in public/refunds.svg. - ReviewCall it by name
Reviews a finished illustration against the look checklist, question by question.
Activates when you mention only when you type /illos-review
/illos-review public/refunds.svg
Review runs only when you call it, so it never starts a review you did not ask for.
See it work
The same request, with and without the skills.
How to use them
- Pick a theme for your site, once.
- Ask your agent for an illustration of something your product does.
- It draws one in the theme and checks it.
- Look at it, and ask for changes in plain words.
Each skill starts on its own when your request needs it. You can also call one by name, like /illos-review.
Install
The skills come with Pro. After you buy, your account page has one setup command with your code in it. Paste it into your terminal or your coding agent, in your project's folder.
It installs the toolkit and puts the skills in your project, where your agent finds them.
Get all accessTry it out
- Draw an Isometric section for our webhooks page: an event goes out and every subscriber gets it.
- Make a HUD hero for our status page, with uptime as the reading.
- Add an illustration of our search to the pricing page, in the theme we already use.
- Check the illustration in components/illos/queue.tsx before we ship it.
Questions
- Do I need Pro?
- Yes. The free spots are free to use, and the skills and toolkit come with Pro.
- Which agents?
- Any coding agent. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf and others read the skills directly or through a small rule the installer writes; any agent that can read files can follow them.
- How do I update?
- Run
npx illos updatein your project. It brings the newest toolkit and skills your year covers, with no key to paste. - What if someone sees my setup command?
- It works for an hour, on the first machine that runs it. If a machine you do not know shows up on your account page, unlink it.
- Can I get a refund?
- See the refund policy.
